WARNING: This rant contains material that is unsuitable for the easily offended. Do not read this rant if you:
>Love EVERYTHING about TF2 and think it's the best game of all time.
>Hate CoD with all your heart and want it to disappear forever.
Do not come crying to me if you disagree unless you have something to back your claim up. It should also be noted that I love both of these games.

Team Fortress 2 is often regarded as one of the best FPS games of all time. It has been praised for it's gameplay, voices, graphics, you name it. The Call of Duty, on the other hand, has been viewed as over-rated. It is booed at for it's engine, it's gameplay, and supposedly being unfair. These two games are practically polar opposites when it comes to hype on the internet, and in all honesty, I am sick of it. This is my rant on how TF2 is over-hyped, and how Call of Duty is under-rated.

On one side of the ring, we have Team Fortress 2, a game known across the internet as one of the greatest FPS games of all time. But I find that it has things that annoy me more than anything in the world. These include:

>The game being more about hats than actual gameplay.
>Melee being almost useless and takes no skill whatsoever to use.
>The fact that offensive almost always win Attack and Defend style games.
>The game humiliates you by announcing that a player is dominating you.
>You can be destroyed easily by a team just because their class cancels your class' skills out.

I honestly hate these moments and these moments are common. But still, why go on about it when I can fact check the claims that are made against Call of Duty?

Call of Duty. Just say the name in a Team Fortress 2 related video and I swear you will become the center of a flame-war. But why is this game hated on so much? There are so many reasons, it could just be said that it's very existence is the reason. These reasons include, but are not limited to:
>Cheap melee kills.
>Predator Missiles.
>Only strategy being point the gun and shoot.
>Quick-scopers.
>Reusing the same engine.

Now, I have heard about these for so long, it has lost all meaning, and I am sick of it. I am now going to prove these claims wrong in the order I said them. The claims are wrong because:

>Shooting the enemy at the range of the knife could do the same thing, but the knife is more efficient.
>These are not present in Black Ops 2. Although there is a similar "Hellstorm Missile", it is harder to get and therefore much less common.
>The strategy of CoD is less point and shoot and more about position.
>Quick-scoping is incredibly uncommon and the people who say otherwise probably haven't gone on multiplayer.
>Valve games do the same thing. For example, TF2, Garry's Mod, Counter Strike: Source, and Portal all use the same engine as Half-Life 2. Want proof? If your game stops responding, it refers to your game as "hl2.exe".

In all honesty, I hate having to have people go on and on about Call of Duty being inferior to Team Fortress 2. Most of the people who bash CoD are regular TF2 players who likely have never even tried a CoD game in their life. This war is as silly as the console wars, but twice as annoying. Now, you may be asking me "But (INSERT NAME HERE), you forgot about (INSERT THING I FORGOT TO ADDRESS HERE). Well, that's why the comments section exists. After all, I may have exposed the truth, but I haven't exposed all the lies.

The lies are for you to expose to me.

The only reason I don't really like COD is because it's suffering from a serious case of sequilitis.  If they only would stop making so many games that are almost identical, it would be harder for me to complain.
